PLAN COMMISSION MEETING, April 12, 2023
The regular meeting of the Town Plan Commission for the Town of St. Croix Falls was called to order by Chairman Mike Dorsey at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the Town Hall.  Proper notice was given as the agenda was published in the March 29, 2023, and April 5, 2023, editions of the Inter County Leader and posted at the town hall and on the town’s website April 6, 2023.  The Pledge of Allegiance was said.  Present by roll call were Chairman Mike Dorsey, members Dave Berg, Rick Katzmark, Gus Koecher and Kyle Yunker.  Absent were Jeremy Appel, Stacy Bergmann and Kevin Rector.  Also present were Janet Krueger, town clerk and legal counsel Adam Jarchow.

Yunker/Katzmark moved to approve the agenda; motion carried.  Yunker/Koecher moved to approve the March 8, 2023, meeting minutes; motion carried.

No public comment was had.

Public Hearing – Town Zoning Ordinance No. 1 amendments to allow either the plan commission or town board to hold the public hearing for special exceptions being considered for termination; amend the definition for lot width; add major home occupation as a special exception use in the residential and agricultural districts; and add motor vehicle dealership as a special exception use in the commercial district.

The public hearing opened at 6:03 p.m.  The town clerk read an email received from Mr. and Mrs. Denise Evert-Bartz.  The proposed amendments were read aloud.  The public hearing closed at 6:07 p.m.

Katzmark/Berg moved to recommend town board approve the zoning amendments as written; motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote, 5-0.

No closing public comment was had.

The next plan commission meeting is scheduled for May 10, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.

There being no further business, Katzmark/Yunker moved to adjourn the meeting; motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 6:13 p.m.
