Annual Town Meeting – April 22, 2026

The Annual Town Meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, by Chairman Mike Dorsey.  Electors present were Katie Appel, Will Bergmann, Mike Dorsey, Jeremy Hall and Brent Priebe.  Others in attendance were highway employee Steve Jacobs and town clerk Janet Krueger.

No additions were made to the agenda.  Katie Appel/Jeremy Hall moved to approve the agenda; motion carried.

The minutes of the 2025 annual town meeting and the 2025 special town meetings were reviewed.  Jeremy Hall/Will Bergmann moved to approve the 2025 minutes; motion carried.

The 2025 Financial Report was presented.

No contribution was designated for the St. Croix Town/Village Cemetery for 2027.

Katie Appel/Jeremy Hall moved to authorize the Town Board to borrow up to $10,000 for general operating expenses in the event of a cash flow problem; motion carried.

The 2026 tax levy (collectable in 2027) and setting board and officer salaries were deferred to the November 2026 Special Town Meeting.

Kate Appel/Will Bergmann moved to set the 2027 Annual Town Meeting for Wednesday, April 21, 2027; motion carried.

Will Bergmann/Jeremy Hall moved to adjourn the Annual Town Meeting at 7:26 p.m.; motion carried.
