07-12-23 Plan Commission Meeting

The regular meeting of the Town Plan Commission for the Town of St. Croix Falls was called to order by Chairman Mike Dorsey at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at the Town Hall.  Proper notice was given as the notice was published in the June 28, 2023, and July 5, 2023, editions of the Inter County Leader and the agenda was posted at the town hall and on the town’s website July 7, 2023.  The Pledge of Allegiance was said.  Present by roll call were Chairman Mike Dorsey, members Jeremy Appel, Dave Berg, Stacy Bergmann, Gus Koecher and Kyle Yunker.  Absent were Rick Katzmark and Kevin Rector.  Also present were town clerk Janet Krueger and legal counsel Adam Jarchow.  Others present were Emil “Moe” Norby and John Parotti.

Yunker/Bergmann moved to approve the agenda; motion carried.  Yunker/Koecher moved to approve the June 14, 2023, meeting minutes; motion carried.

No public comment was had.

Public Hearing – Commercial Design Guidelines for 1302 208th Street.

The public hearing opened at 6:03 p.m.  The applicants provided site and landscape plans for the addition to the recycling facility.  The public hearing closed at 6:20 p.m.

Koecher/Appel moved to recommend town board approval of the commercial design guidelines and plans presented for 1302 208th Street; motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote, 6-0.

No closing public comment was had.

The commission inquired if the Town Board is interested in continuing discussion on obtaining water for the sanitary district.

There being no further business, Yunker/Berg moved to adjourn the meeting; motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
