SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING, August 25, 2025

A special meeting of the Town Board of the Town of St. Croix Falls was called to order by Chairman Michael Dorsey on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.  Proper notice was given as the agenda was posted at the town hall and on the town’s website August 22, 2025.  The Pledge of Allegiance was said.  Present by roll call were Chairman Michael Dorsey, supervisors Will Bergmann, Jeremy Hall and Brent Priebe.  Supervisor Katie Appel was present by phone.  Town clerk/treasurer Janet Krueger was also present.

Hall/Bergmann moved to approve the agenda; motion carried.

Two Bids were received:  Paragon Excavating – $165,142.80; and Nick’s Trucking & Excavation – $135,294.00.  Hall/Priebe moved to award the bid for excavation work on 200^th Street to Nick’s Trucking & Excavating; motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote, 5-0.  Quotes for a ditch mower were reviewed – no decision was made.  A proposed letter to property owners within the one mile stretch of 200^th Street between 180^th Avenue and 170^th Avenue informing them of anticipated road work was reviewed.  Hall/Appel moved to approve the letter with the amendment that project updates will be posted on the Town’s website; motion carried. 

There being no further business, Hall/Appel moved to adjourn the meeting; motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
