PLAN COMMISSION MEETING, September 11, 2024

The regular meeting of the Town Plan Commission for the Town of St. Croix Falls was called to order by Chairman Mike Dorsey at 6:04 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at the Town Hall.  Proper notice was given as the notice was published in the August 28, 2024, and September 4, 2024, editions of the Inter County Leader.  The agenda was posted at the town hall and on the town’s website September 6, 2024.  The Pledge of Allegiance was said.  Present by roll call were Chairman Mike Dorsey, members Jeremy Appel, Dave Berg, Rick Katzmark, Gus Koecher, Kevin Rector and Frank Behning.  Also present were town clerk Janet Krueger and legal counsel Adam Jarchow.  Others present were Scott Hasselquist.

Katzmark/Rector moved to approve the agenda; motion carried.  Rector/Katzmark moved to approve the August 14, 2024, meeting minutes; motion carried.

No public comment was had.

Public Hearing – Minor Subdivision request to subdivide parcel 044-00794-00 into two parcels in the commercial district.  The public hearing opened at 6:06 p.m.  Surveyor Scott Hasselquist was present to answer questions.  The public hearing closed at 6:30.

Rector/Berg moved to recommend Town Board waive the two lot prohibition so that three lots can be served by an easement; motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote, 7-0.  Berg/Koecher moved to recommend Town Board approval of the minor subdivision as presented; motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote, 7-0.

There was no closing public comment.

There being no further business, Katzmark/Rector moved to adjourn the meeting; motion carried and the meeting was adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
