Taxes:
Property tax bills are mailed in late December.
First half of payment is due Jan. 31 to the Town Treasurer. Second half payment is due July 31 to the Polk County Treasurer.
Zoning Ordinances:
The Town has adopted its own Zoning Ordinances.
County Shoreland and Floodplain Zoning and the Polk County Sanitary Ordinance apply to the Town of St.roix Falls.
Permits:
Permits are required in the Town for new construction, buildings, alterations, pools, signs, filling and grading, septic systems & other land use activities. Waterfront and near waterfront properties have additional regulations and
responsibilities to ensure resources are protected.
